Having A Parent With Cancer When You Have Something For School

Hi today I had a spelling bee my brother was also in the spelling bee too. I got sad when I found out my mom couldn't come to my spelling bee. So if your family member can't come to something you have at school just follow these tips.

First tip you should not feel bad. Know that she/he really wants to come, and if she/he was coming before she went into the hospital it is okay. Just do your best and don't let that ruin your day.

Second tip if you can get your teacher to Face-time your family member. So I asked my teacher if she could Face-time my mom during my school thing. She got to see me and she was so proud of me. My brother made it longer than I did.

That was basically all my tips so be glad that you made it to your school thing. I know you would be sad that they wouldn't make it. I made it through so you can too just do your best. Thanks for reading my blog.
